Help us to help the Tibetan Refugee Children.

The Tibetan Children Relief Society of New Zealand is a registered non-profit voluntary humanitarian organisation formed in 1964 to build a home for Tibetan refugee children at the Tibetan Children’s Village in Upper Dharamsala, North India.
Every bit of your sponsorship money goes to your nominated Tibetan person or centre.
The Society promotes the sponsorship of the health, welfare and education of Tibetan children who live at the Tibetan Children’s Village in Dharamsala and Tibetan Homes Foundation in Mussoorie. These sponsorships have helped to raise the standard of living of the children over the past fifty years.
These young people face an uncertain future in their homeland, where the very survival of their unique culture is threatened, as they become a minority in their own country.
“We are visitors on this planet.
We are here for ninety or one hundred years at the very most.
During that period we must try to do something good,
something useful, with our lives.
Try to be at peace with yourself, and help others share that peace.
If you contribute to other people’s happiness,
you will find the true goal, the true meaning of life”
– The Dalai Lama

WHAT OUR SPONSORS SAY
“Every child should be given not just an education but an education stressing the importance of the timeless and universal human values of love and compassion, for without them no human problems, either in the individual or in the world, can be resolved. THF is one of the few schools in the world upholding these values”
